1. Company Overview
LeyOak Multiple-Purpose Business LTD operates a platform providing services in general merchandise and multisector trading.
2. User Obligations
Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old to register or use our services.
User Responsibilities
We are required by law to report certain financial activities. Member activities will be reviewed against government standards to ensure compliance. Members will receive a strike for each violation, and after three strikes (except for serious violations), the member will be permanently banned.
3. Service Access and Usage
Account Creation
During account creation, we collect name, address, email address, phone number, next of kin, bank details, identification information, and employment status. All information is securely processed via HTTPS.
Service Availability
Periodic maintenance may be performed on our platform, with notices provided to members by email or through a website display.
Usage Restrictions
Users are prohibited from reselling services or engaging in any illegal activity.
4. Payments and Transactions
Payment Methods
All transactions within the app are conducted through members' wallets. Funds can be credited or debited via the Paystack API.
Refunds and Cancellations
Members can withdraw available funds from their wallets at any time. Assets can be liquidated at any time, with the proceeds credited to members' wallets.
5. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
LeyOak reserves the right to all content on the platform. Users are not permitted to use any of LeyOak's intellectual property without permission.
6. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: This agreement is governed by Nigerian law.
Dispute Resolution Process: We will attempt to resolve disputes internally first. If users are not satisfied, they may choose an alternate legal method of resolution that complies with Nigerian law.
7. Limitation of Liability
Company Liability: LeyOak is liable for damages resulting from its own backend service breaches, provided sufficient evidence is supplied. We are not responsible for damages due to user negligence in securing their account.
User Responsibility: Users are responsible for any misuse, unauthorized access, or violations of the terms on their accounts.
8. Termination of Services
Members who violate major financial laws will be banned immediately. Financial infractions will result in strikes, and after three strikes, a permanent ban will be enforced. In the case of an investigation, member accounts may be suspended during the process.
9. Privacy and Data Security
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle personal data. All data is transmitted securely via HTTPS.
10. Amendments and Updates
LeyOak reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified via email about any changes. Continued use of our services implies agreement to the updated terms.
11. Third-Party Services
We use Paystack for payment processing. The banking information we collect is required by Paystack's platform. While we trust Paystack, we do not control their services, and users are subject to their terms.
12. Third-Party Links
All payment processing is done through Paystack. Even though they are a reliable platform, we do not have control over their servers or services.
